i spoke with joanas at the asu
library sunday at the phoenix indy
media meeting about cool edit 2000
and winamp.


i have read the documentation about
winamp it looks like winamp is a tool
to allow you to listen to audio. nothing
more.

winamp can also be used on the server
side to down load audio to people on
the web.

but winamp is not a tool to allow you
to create and edit audio files.

i think joanas agreed with this.

joanas had a real good solution on
how you can edit and create audio
files. its both

     cool edit pro - it costs money
           and
     cool edit 2000 - it can be downloaded for free.

we looked at the product on their web site
which is:

      http://www.syntrillium.com

and it has everything you need to create
a audio file, and edit several existing
audio files into a new audio file.

it also has the ability to create MP3
files which you can upload to indy media.

joanas said he would be willing to
go over to mr liberals house and
help him install the software and
show him how to use it. if you do this
i would be interested in coming along
so i could see how the software works
because i would be intersted in learing
how to use it too.
